The capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset…. Do you know what that is?

It is the definition of patience, according to Yes, patience.

It seems that patience is a “lost art.” We all want it right now, don’t we? We want to “quick start” everything. We want to keep the momentum going and going and going and going like the EverReady bunny.

And guess what, momentum in business is good…but patience is even better. Patience is that thing that believes “the race is not given to the swift or to the strong,  but to the one who endures to the end.”

Actually, patience is a requirement when you are building a personal brand.

When you are starting and planning a business around your purpose, you are in it for the long haul. I mean, your purpose is not going to end in the next 90 days is it? Well, is it?

I hope not.

Your purpose is why you are on planet Earth, so it should be your expectation that you will be growing in it, thriving in it, relaxing in it, while being inspired by it for years and years to come.

In the audio below, which is almost ten minutes long, I am reading an excerpt from Gary Vaynerchuk’s book, Why Now is The Time to Crush It! Cash In On Your Passion.

The excerpt is about patience and how it must be a character trait that you possess if you are building a business around your personal brand.

Listen, intensely. I hope you get as much from it as I did. :-)
